He has a Bachelor of Social Sciences, Adult Learning and Teaching Certificate, Certificate in Counseling and Post Graduate Certificate in Conflict Resolution. As a migrant, Ivan is passionate about bringing mental health promotion messaged into Asian communities. In particular, working to reduce stigma and discrimination associated with Asian people who experience mental illnesses and bringing suicide prevention information to Asian communities.
