Webcasts
In 2006 SPINZ began reviewing its service provision and information dissemination activities. How we best utilise the resources we have and reach our target audiences effectively has been a key question in that review process. As a result, we have some changes in the way we will disseminate information.
Through a formalised process, SPINZ identified that many key messages can be made more accessible to a larger audience through the use of new technology. Therefore, we no longer provide community workshops, instead we have undertaken to develop tailored presentations and resources for specific audiences.
Given the complexity of the issue of suicide, it is important that research findings are made available and accessible to key stakeholders to inform people about the new and existing knowledge within the suicide prevention field. SPINZ is committed to providing an information and resource service that is up-to-date, safe and accessible.
Future developments will involve the production of webcasts to cover specific key messages that support best practice in suicide prevention. Watch this page for more information.
The first of our webcasts were filmed during our 2008 Seminar Series, where we filmed our presenters and recorded their presentations.
